About

Hi there!

I’m Esther, an Interior Architect and the heart and brains behind Otaigo. Forever curious about the African Aesthetic and how it manifests itself in the spaces and places we occupy.

You may be wondering why Otaigo? Otaigo is my maternal Bibi’s name, a Kuria word for a season of rest that happens after harvest.  I  believe this state of being is what every  interior space should evoke.
